DETAILS

At one level, it is certainly true that life is fragile and we have good reason to worry about losing the things we love. And yet, sometimes we are able to access another level, where our heart knows that everything is okay, complete, and whole. A level where, as Julian of Norwich heard Jesus tell her, "All shall be well." How do we learn to live with these seemingly contradictory truths? Can we learn to move between these levels of reality, perhaps even learn to live within both concurrently? And what are the portals into that deeper truth, especially in times of stress and worry? Join The Rev. Elizabeth Jameson and Rev. Ian Cummins as they explore the art and the extraordinary gift of "living in two worlds." Rev. Ian Cummins is a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA), who after serving a church in Denver, Colorado for more than 20 years, is now helping others (and himself) learn to trust life, stay present and experience the Divine Love that permeates creation. He offers one-on-one spiritual coaching, writes about life on Substack at https://igcummins.substack.com/ and co-leads retreats with The Rev. Elizabeth Jameson. You can reach him at iancummins13@gmail.com. The Rev Elizabeth Jameson’s life has been forged by the Christ tradition, the mystic path and her own living communion with the Divine. She feels drawn to walk the edges of what is known and embrace all that is, including suffering and pain, with a radical, expansive love. Her joy and energy are contagious, permeating her 27 years as a priest, spiritual guide and intuitive healer. She writes about life on Substack at https://livingwisdomtoday.com/ and co-leads retreats with Rev. Ian Cummins. You can reach her at elizabeth@livingwisdomtoday.com.
